Setting The Resume Feature
and Faster Reverse and Forward Speeds
On The RioVolt SP-90

First, access the Menu Mode by holding the EQ/Menu button for 1.5 seconds. You will see the RESUME status, the first of several menu options you can toggle.

Hitting the EQ/Menu button will toggle the RESUME feature. If previously OFF it will now be ON and vice versa. Once RESUME is ON, you will not need to set it again unless you wish to have it OFF.

Move to the next menu item by pushing Fast Forward >>| on the Joypad. This displays the SPEED status.

To change the reverse and fast forward speeds toggle the EQ/Menu button. A speed of 6X will access a minute of audio in just over a second, a reasonable means of locating specific times in long audio files.

These toggles remain set after the unit is powered down.

Using the Joypad
Notice that each position has a Press and a Press and Hold function. Practice at understanding the difference will save you much aggravation, particularly when rewinding.

Press to play or to pause.
Press and hold to turn on.
Fast Forward >>|
Press to go to next track.
Press and hold to fast forward through current track.
Rewind |<<
Press to return to previous track.
Press and hold to rewind through current track.
Stop □
Press to Stop
Press and hold to turn off.
